Extension of Time

Reference is made to the above-mentioned Tender Notice that appeared in the My GoV Newspaper of 18th October 2022 and 0n 19th October 2022 in the Daily Nation on the above subject matter.

1. Pursuant to ITB 7.1 the Client has received request for clarifications and is in process of preparing their responses to be shared with bidders in due course.
2. Pursuant to ITB 8 the client is preparing Amendment No. 1 to the Bid which will be issued in due course.
3. Consequently, Pursuant to ITB 22.1 the submission date for tenders to be coordinated by Coast Water Works Development Agency has been EXTENDED by Twenty-Eight (28) days from 13th December 2022 up to 10th January, 2023 at 1205 hrs East Africa time.
4. As per ITB 18.1 & 19.1 all Bids shall be valid until 30th April 2023 (for 120 days) from date of bid submission and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a Bank Guarantee of KES. 50,000,000.00 (Kenya Shillings Fifty Million Only) which shall remain valid for a further 28 days beyond the bid validity period until 28th May 2023.
5. All Bidders MUST confirm in writing receipt of this NOTICE.
